New shoes

I made kittyshoes! With glossy black multisurface 3D-paint.
Just hope it doesn't fall off if it rains..

Crocheted boyfriend, handmade book & pinkish girlystuff.

This is my boyfriend. I made him. He's kinda cute.
(I also have a bigger, not so cotton-brained, version <3 )

This started as a little project (I thought I'd mark some
sights on a free map of Helsinki) for a friend. But turned
out to be my first handmade book. I printed the pages
and hand stitched them together in small bundles.
Then glued them to first a ribbon and then the cover
(I used the back of a black elastic file folder).

We sell some craft supplies where I work, so I thought
I'd make a few examples to put on display. Turned out ok.

Made some sparkly christmas things.

It's almost xmas again..

Yes. I do think it can start in October. 
I <3 christmas and there's no reason why you can't enjoy it for as long as possible.
I made some candles sparkle with copper coloured sparkles glue.
 Not really that christmasy, but these were practise.. :)

new house

New apartment is starting to look like a home.
Chairs went from wornout birch to shiny black.

These old wooden candleholders that I love,
but have been aftraid to use (I mean, c'mon, wood?), 
got a new life with these glass holders that are originally
meant to go into potted plants. Yay!

Christmas gifts.
The roses are made for lighting fires.
(And are tested now, so I know they work.)

Food for freezing birds.
Made out of coconut oil & birdseed,
moulded in a cookie cutter.
(I used a piece of a straw to make it
easier to thred the wire through once the
coconut oil hardened.)
